Marlowe debuted in the show ring at the Grand River Kennel Club UKC Show in August 2019. He was awarded all 4 Best Novice Puppy in Show awards, competing against between 7 and 13 breeds of puppies in the Best in Show ring. We are so honoured to have been recognized by these judges!
Marlowe earned his first 4 points towards his Canadian championship by going Winners Dog twice over 4 other class dogs under Judges Jeremy Brown and Gordon Hayburn at the 2021 Barrie Kennel & Obedience Club show. He also took Winner's Dog at the Booster ahead of the WAC National Specialty in September 2021, bringing him halfway to his Canadian Championship. Marlowe finished his Championship by going Winners Dog at the Regional Specialty in 2022 under Judge Tom Alexander. He quickly finished his Grand Championship in December 2022 at the Elora Gorge shows. Marlowe has always been shown on a very limited basis, but has garnered some lovely recognition in large entries, winning multiple Best of Breeds at our Boosters in November 2022 and March 2023. Marlowe got his first group placement (4th) under Cathy Delmar from Ireland the day of the WAC booster in 2022. He has continued to make cuts in the group. Marlowe was the #1 Male Weimaraner in Ontario (Breed Points), and #4 Weimaraner in Canada in 2022. He was #5 Weimaraner in Canada, and #2 Weim in Ontario in 2023 (Breed Points). Marlowe was the first Wynder Weimaraner to achieve the Grand Champion Bronze title with the Canadian Kennel Club. Marlowe has sired one large litter of puppies over at Cazaway Kennels. He is available for stud to approved girls. Marlowe spends most of his time as a much loved companion for Cheryl, Bill and their daughter Ameese. |
